“Just Enough”

High Country Cottage

The High Country Cottage stands on five acres of open ground in Prescott's Williamson Valley, framed on all sides by mountain views. At 677 square feet, it makes the case for building small and building well, a single-level plan opened up by vaulted ceilings, with a sleeping loft tucked above and honest, hard-wearing detail in every corner. Everything came together from raw land: well, systems, structure, and finish, sequenced to stand up to high-country seasons. It's a small home with the bones and craftsmanship of something built to outlast its builder.
